How much does a removalist cost on the Gold Coast?

Our rate is $159/hr for 2 movers + truck, with a 2-hour minimum. That is all-in — no distance fee under 40km, no stairs charge, no piano fee, no dismantle fee, no call-out fee. As a rough guide for the typical job: small moves run $375 to $595, 2-3 bedroom moves $649 to $1175, and 4+ bedroom or longer-distance moves $1275 to $2295. The exact price comes down to access, distance, and how long the day takes. Fill in the 60-second quote form and we will come back with a real number for your job.

Do you handle furniture assembly and disassembly?

Yes, and there is no extra charge for it. We pull beds, dining tables, desks, and modular shelving apart at the old place, wrap the parts so nothing gets scratched, then put it all back together at the new one. Allen keys included.

Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. Stairs at either end do not add a separate fee. Walk-ups in Surfers, Burleigh townhouses, lift bookings in Broadbeach towers, we have done all of it. The work might take slightly longer, which is already factored into the original quote.

Is my move insured?

Yes. LOG Transport carries full public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. Your stuff is covered from the moment we lift it to the moment we set it down at the new place.

What areas do you service?

Anywhere on the Gold Coast (Coolangatta up to Sanctuary Cove), Brisbane (Logan, Redlands, into the city), Sunshine Coast (Caloundra to Noosa), and Northern NSW (Tweed, Byron, Ballina). We also do interstate runs on request.

Do you supply packing boxes and materials?

Yes. We can drop off boxes, butchers paper, bubble wrap, mattress bags, and tape ahead of move day, or you can grab whatever you need from us on the day.

Can you handle office relocations?

Yes. We do office moves regularly and we can run the job after hours or on a weekend so your business does not lose a Monday. Desks dismantled, IT equipment padded, files boxed and labelled by zone.

Do you provide storage?

Yes. Short-term, long-term, or in-transit storage. Useful for settlement-day gaps, overseas trips, or downsizing while you sort out what stays and what goes.

How do I get a quote?

Two ways. Either fill in the 60-second quote form on the site, or call 0451 814 545. Tell us where you are moving from and to, roughly how big the move is, and any tricky access. We come back with a clear price the same day, usually within a couple of hours.

How much notice do I need to book?

A week or two is comfortable. End-of-month and weekends fill up first, especially January and the weeks before Christmas. Last-minute jobs are fine too, we squeeze them in when we can.
