The Gold Coast CBD
Towers, the Broadwater, and the old streets behind them.
Southport is the civic heart of the Coast, and it moves like three suburbs in one. The CBD towers along Scarborough
and Nerang Street sit right on the light-rail line, with service lifts, loading docks and tight street parking.
A block back, the Broadwater edge is full of older units and retiree apartments. Further out toward Ashmore and
Benowa you are into post-war houses and Queenslanders on stumps.
We move in and out of all of it. For the towers we book the service lift and the dock with the building manager
ahead of the day, and we take early-morning slots so the truck is loaded before Australia Fair, Chinatown and the
light-rail crossings get busy. For the older houses we bring stair-runners and floor protection for the timber and
the stumps.
The rentals around Griffith University, TAFE and the Gold Coast University Hospital turn over fast, so we are used
to quick unit-to-unit moves on a tight lease-changeover or settlement window.
